Using Dinkey Pro/FD with Delphi
We provide a complete Delphi project that demonstrates how to communicate with the Dinkey Pro and FD dongles as well as implementing many advanced protection techniques. There are samples showing how you can link our static Delphi libraries or call our Runtime DLL.
There is also a sample Delphi project that allows you to accept update codes so that you can remotely update protection parameters and other data in the dongle.
All versions of Delphi since Delphi version 6.0 are supported as well as 32-bit and 64-bit Delphi code. The sample code can also be easily modified to work with FireMonkey on Windows and macOS by loading the appropriate native runtime module that we provide in the SDK.
There is also another method you can use to protect your Delphi application - which you can use in addition to or instead of calling the API in our Delphi Runtime libraries. This is the Shell method of protection which automatically adds protection to your executable and encrypts your code to prevent reverse-engineering.
